Definition

Backlinks are links from one website to another. They help traditional search engines, such as Google and Bing, discover and evaluate webpages. While backlinks may also help AI systems discover information from authoritative websites, there is currently no established evidence that backlinks alone improve AI Visibility or AI Naming.
